Major: A.A. in Liberal Arts, Pre-STEM
High School: Sullivan High School
Involvements: Math Fellow, HERO internship, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), STEM Program & Arrupe Research Collaborative

Hello! My name is Nazia Azizi. I'm here to tell you about my Arrupe College experience.

How I chose my degree:
Liberal Arts was the closest to the biology major that I wanted to take for my career major.

My plans after graduation:
I will be attending Loyola University Chicago during this upcoming fall 2023.

Professor a new student should absolutely take a class with:
A professor I absolutely would recommend to incoming new students would be . He is a great professor, well organized and always tries his best to help his students understand the class content.

Class I never expected to love:
Calculus 1 was the class that I expected to be hard, however, the structure of the class content and assistance of the professor assisted me greatly throughout the class which made me love and enjoy the class.

Favorite spot on campus:
The study rooms are my favorite place on the campus as it gives me the opportunity to complete my assignment in a quieter environment and prepare for upcoming assignments/exams.

Best thing I've done since coming to Arrupe:
The best thing I have done since coming to Arrupe College was working as a Math Fellow. I got to help students with math courses that I have taken and help those who are struggling with the content of the class and require extra assistance to understand the materials.

Some surprisingly cool things about Arrupe:
The most surprisingly cool thing about Arrupe was the support for each individual student. For example, The Market at Arrupe College provides food for students to take home with no cost.
